History
Development of the group of companies under the “UFC” TM1996
- SP Ukrainian Eastern Fish Company OOO was set up (office of 25 square meters)
- first import of fish and sea products
- first fish smoking department was opened (Sen’kovo sett., Kharkov region)
- purchase of first cold storage facilities
- building of new production facilities
- fish processing has been organized in accordance with EU standards
- company is gaining new marketplaces
- establishment of ChP Delfin that joined the group of companies under the “UFC” TM
- acquisition of specialized transport facilities for deliveries of fish products throughout Ukraine
- new fish processing department was put into operation, thereby diversifying the range of finished products
- building and launching of modern cold storage warehouse of 500 tons capacity
- first vessel-volume shipment to the Black Sea which significantly reduced logistic’s costs of the company
- new administrative building was opened (office of 1,500 square meters)
- additional cold storage was launched increasing storage capacity to more than 2 thousand tons
- company owned reefer-truck fleet reached 20 units
- company owned railway spur was put into operation
- preserves department was brought into service
- new cold storage of 3,500 tons capacity was build and put into service
- the “UFC” TM enters the market
- Odessa branch was set up
- delicacy fish processing department was opened
- number of employees increased to 300 persons
2006
- Kiev branch was set up
- we control 20% of the Ukrainian market
- modern delicacy fish processing machinery and new labeling and marking equipment for the products under the “UFC” TM are installed
- director of the company is awarded as Man of the Year for high achievements in production
- company owned cold storage of 5,000 tons holding capacity conforming with European standards was launched in Kupyansk
- due to wide assortment of fish products and increase in production we control 30% of the market
- sales volume of the finished fish products under the “UFC” TM increased to 1,000 tons a month
- truck fleet consists of 50 reefer-trucks
- ChP Delfin has become a leader among frozen fish buyers and was awarded the European Vector, 2006 in competition among companies engaged in foreign economic activity
